This course teaches skills with the American Heart Association’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
Note: There is a ten dollar fee for a certification card that is filed with the AHA. CDC COVID guidelines will be followed, including a limit of six students, individually assigned mannequins, masks, temperature checks, and social distancing.
Robyn Murray RN, the Rappahannock Center for Education healthcare program director, will be teaching the CPR and AED classes to the general public. She is a certified instructor and also teaches other healthcare classes.
