The class will cover Gaza’s past, present, and alternative future. Importantly, the class will be non-political, non-ethnic and non-sectarian; rather it will rely on historical data and the present-day situation in Gaza and other countries that are adjacent to it or have an interest in present-day Gaza. The goal of the class will be for students to have a better or new understanding of Gaza. 

Instructor's Bio

Tim Nolan lived and worked in the Middle East for 17 years and has either visited and/or researched the following countries – Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel, UAE and Qatar. He also worked at the CIA for 15 years where he was responsible for reporting and analysis of several Middle East countries.
